Choice of Jesus

We talked about why Jesus chose Saul even though he was against those who believed in Jesus. There were three reasons. First, Saul was a smart person knowledgeable about Jewish laws and the Old Testament. When Saul converted from Judaism, he could explain why Jesus is the Christ and savior from the perspective of a Jew. He could persuade the people of Israel based on the Bible, their traditions, and history. Second, he also had the ability to explain the gospel to the gentiles who were not Israelites. He could speak Greek and had learned Greek philosophy and literature. Saul could explain the gospel to the gentiles using words and concepts that were familiar to them. Finally, Saul’s conversion was the most effective advertisement. Like, Bill gates proclaimed that macbook is the best laptop ever and ios is better than windows, it was very shocking event for not only disciples of Jesus but also all israel people. His change was tremendous testimony that Jesus is the Christ and Savior and Christianity is the only genuine religion in the world. ​
